What if I Hadn’t Said Yes? ~ by Brandey Wegley
Hello Julie! I wanted to share this with you because I know it will encourage and bless you! I’ve read some of your book and it’s blessed me already. I’ve always tried to listen to God’s promptings to share Jesus in public and pray for people, but your book has encouraged me even more.
Distribution Day at Project Christmas near the end of the day God highlighted a lady to me. She was sitting all by herself and was looking down at her phone most of the time. The Lord prompted me to go over and talk to her. Her name is Mandy. I let Mandy know that God wanted me to tell her that He loved her very much. We talked for quite awhile and then prayed together.
Mandy accepted Christ a week later and was baptized at our church, King’s Trail Cowboy Church, on Sunday! She said several people had tried talking to her for the past year, but she wouldn’t listen to anyone. Amazingly, she received everything God led me to tell her!!! HE had already gone before me and prepared a way!!!! Glory to God!!!!! Mandy said she felt like a “New Lady”!
I think to myself, “What if I didn’t listen to God’s prompting and went on about my day?”
