I Finally Stepped Out and Said Yes!

Julie!!! I finally did it! I stepped out! I was sitting in my car after class (at Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry in Redding, CA) and God’s presence was so strong I was shaking. I felt the Holy Spirit tell me to go pray for a friend, so after the shaking eased up, I went and prayed for him. As I was driving home, I felt like I was supposed to stop somewhere, so I asked Holy Spirit to tell me where, and I felt it was the Walgreens on my way home.

As I walked into Walgreens, I felt I was supposed to buy something and give it to someone. So I walked around, still feeling God’s presence so heavily that my body was trembling, and prayed for those I passed, but didn’t feel led to say anything (except to one guy, but I didn’t do it right away and didn’t get another opportunity).

I saw some Snickers bars with various words on them. I bought one that said “feisty” and one that said “rebellious,” and a Valentine heart with chocolates (because I’m supposed to give it to someone and tell them God is their Valentine. Not sure who that is yet.) So I made my purchase, walked out and then saw a couple hanging around Walgreens and walked over to them. I gave the lady the feisty one and the guy the rebellious one, and explained he’s a good kind of rebellious. I prophesied (shared words of love and encouragement) over both. I shared that God had given this man a leadership gifting, and that he was going to find work soon. Then they let me pray for them, so I prayed for housing and provision since they are homeless.

It helped to remember how you’ve done it, Julie, and that I’ve seen you in action before! Go God!!
