Healed and Praying for Others’ Healing ~ by Anonymous Missionary

I have a testimony. Of course, Julie’s book, No More No, encourages people to pray crazy prayers like this:

I was just waking up and praying off and on as I dozed. My wrist was sore and had been getting more and more sore since my bike wreck in early December where I landed on my hands while the bike slid out from under me. So I was praying on this morning, “Lord, please heal, please heal.” And for whatever reason, I thought to add, “And if you heal me, I will pray for whoever you want me to out on the streets” –like, for them to get healed also. A few moments later I woke up again–this was a dreamy process–and the wrist was totally and completely pain-free. I shook it around, which I can’t do normally. But I did this time.

It’s 95% healed right now, I’d say. I’m amazed. It was hurting when I woke up–that’s why I was praying. Up to then, it had hardly taken any movement at all to start the pain. Now no pain at all!

So, to answer the question you are probably asking, I did pray for a lady in a wheelchair that same morning. She was Catholic, and she said she was willing for me to pray. I told her about my wrist story. After I prayed I asked how she was doing, and she said she had lots of energy, but no major change that she noticed. Maybe I should’ve said, “Then stand up!”

I’m going to keep on, by God’s grace.
